As we speak, the words said between us evoke thoughts, images and feelings. These move along in their own representative sequence. If we focus only on the semantic meaning of these 'words', we already have a thicket of visuospatial images moving across our field of thought in sequential time. If we add the dimensions of how we hear the stress, pitch, cadence, duration of the voice, we now open up our unconscious to receive a greater depth of material and expression.
